The offer
Local, qualified supply teaching, direct to your school. I hold DfE Qualified Teacher Status (UK and Overseas Trained) and have seven years' classroom experience teaching Key Stage 3-4 Mathematics, Key Stage 4-5 Economics and Business Studies. Available for day-to-day cover and longer-term assignments from September 2026, engaged directly on your payroll as a casual member of staff, not through an agency.
Why direct, not agency
LOCAL & RELIABLE
Available at short notice, on time, not commuting in from a distance.
QUALIFIED & EXPERIENCED
Classes properly covered, not just supervised.
NO AGENCY FEE
No transfer fee if a placement runs long-term, no margin between your budget and the classroom.
COMMITTED, NOT SPREAD THIN
Working with a small handful of schools, building real familiarity with staff and students.
Pay & engagement
SPINE POINT
Upper Pay Scale, UPS2 – £252.48/day (2025/26 STPCD rate, outside London, calculated as annual salary ÷ 195 days). Indicative, subject to your school’s own pay policy assessment.
HOW I’M ENGAGED
Directly as a casual employee on your school’s own payroll – PAYE, not agency-supplied, not invoiced via a business. No transfer fee, ever.
Safeguarding
Enhanced DBS Certificate No. 001798036876, issued 15/09/2022, including children's barred list and prohibition-from-teaching checks. Registered with the DBS Update Service, so your school can check the current status online, with my consent, before I set foot in the building. References available on request.
